Greetings mortals and morsels! Team Gregula had the pleasure of enjoying a geektacular weekend full of heroes, villains, games and fun at Chicago Comic and Entertainment Expo aka C2E2!!! This event happened at McCormick Place, April 11 – 13, 2025 and there was so much going on it was scary!
It was always nice to see the lighted up C2E2 entrance waiting to greet us like am old friend, especially after waiting in a long line to get thru security. I know it’s necessary, but it’s also freaking annoying!
This year Da Count and I had to come in mortal disguise so we weren’t able to pose for photos. However, Junior stepped up to be the horror host with the most and take fun pics!
There are always fangtastic things to buy from the vendors. From tshirts to artwork and other goodies, there is something for everyone.
Cosplay is king here at C2E2! The highlight of the weekend is the Crown Championships of Cosplay and the con even has a dedicated section on the floor “Cosplay Central” where cosplay groups meet up. Check out some of the cool costumes!
Even when the convention floor closes, the fun never ends! C2E2 After Dark events include games and panels, including horror and comedy events. We stayed for the Jackbox Games Trivia Murder Party 3 game which was a lot of fun.
A ghoul time was had by all at C2E2, and we can’t wait til next year to do it all over again!
