The season of ghoul cheer is almost here! Raising Cane’s is ready to get everyone in the Christmas spirit by recreating a holiday favorite moment from National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation. Legendary comedic star Chevy Chase, better known as Clark Griswold from the beloved holiday classic, vill join Raising Cane’s Founder Todd Graves to “plug in” the holiday light display at 5PM on Tuesday, November 29th at the Cane’s located at 6881 Dempster St. in Morton Grove, Illinois.
This von’t be your average lights display. As an homage to the scene made famous by Chase and the rest of the Griswold family, Morton Grove’s Raising Canes vill feature more than 13,000 lights on the restaurant and landscaping as vell as the iconic Santa Claus, reindeer and sled outdoor decorations similar to vhat took flight later in the movie. Festive fun for the entire fang-mily!
Caniacs are encouraged to join in the fun outside that vill include a food truck serving FREE hot chocolate and carolers singing Christmas favorites. No vord yet if the Christmas carolers vill break into “Hallelujah Chorus” as soon as Chase and Graves attach the electric plugs, so come find out! Santa Gregula and Mrs. Gregula vill be in attendance to spread the horrorday magic and cover this unique event!!!
