Blood Feast
Of all the places to put a haunted house attraction, the least likely place to put one would be inside a restaurant. Which is exactly what the proprietors of Murder Mansion did.
Taking place in the Klas Restaurant in Cicero, Illinois. Blood Feast actually beings in the parking lot next door where you wait while several costumed characters wander about, scaring people and having a good time. The entrance to the haunt is actually in the back garage which coincidentally is built in castle-form (no lie!) which really took the atmosphere up a notch.
As you enter the haunt, you are greeted by more characters, including a "maitre'd" and then you make your way through several rooms of the haunted restaurant including the main dining area and a dance hall. Then you make your way upstairs (alert for those who cannot climb stairs, sorry!)
to the kitchen where some gruesome things are going on and you find out what you didn't want to know about your dinner!
Afterwards, if you have bought the Feast & Feast Combo, you are entitled to a complimentary meal in the main restaurant which is a nice ending to a fun event. And the food is really good! Hope you love gravy! BEAST value for dinner and a scare show out there of any other haunt!
Count Gregula's Crypt gives it two fangs and two stomachs up!
