Greetings once again, Mortals and Morsels...
Flashback Weekend 2005 was a ROUSING success!!! The Count and I, along with our assistants/alters Greg and Linda enjoyed the annual Summertime Festival of Horror and Sci-Fi once again. This year we attended all 3 days! As usual, we had great fun meeting and greeting with the celebrity guests as well as our fiends and friends!
Friday night, Count-Gregula.com reporters Greg and Linda got to meet the star of the "Evil Dead" movies Bruce Campbell and were able to score a photo and autograph for The Count and Myself. Mr. Campbell was a pleasure to meet, very down to earth, and was also spotted wandering about the dealer's room! Later that evening Greg and Linda met up with The BONE JANGLER and Nocturna, along with their crew Goldie and Chef Ryan and guest Big Mike M (formerly Froggy from Cleveland's "The Ghoul" show) and they partied like it was 1899 ;)!
On Saturday, The Count and I made our annual Summer appearance at Flashback! We spent the day with TBJ and fiends and even got to meet Demonica from Hammond's own "Graveyard Theater" and North Suburban Horror Host Undead Johnny along with Dementia from "The World of the Weird Monster Show". We also met up with our favorite goolie, Svengoolie who was there to sign autographs, participate in a Q & A session and host a Costume Contest! Much pictures and video were taken for future shows and the website and we were also interviewed for TV by Jon Knoll who was filming a documentary about Svengoolie.
Sunday, Greg and Linda returned for one more day of ghoulish fun and got to visit with the likes of Tom Atkins, Adrienne Barbeau, Bill Moseley and Sid Haig from "The Devil's Rejects". It is always sad to see the convention come to an end but we have memories and pictures galore and we look forward to meeting up with everyone once again!
